Merry Christmas !!!

After nearly a year away !!! I am back - sometimes I felt like I was blogging to myself, But Isla and Jacqueline assure me that I'm not.!!!
Well after weeks of waiting Dilly has had her foal - we now have 7 Shetlands in the field and the new one is doing fine - she has been called Daisy Mae and is adorable. They all belong to my sister and they show them all. Last week they took 3 of them to a show and got 2 x firsts and 1 x Junior Champion.
Take a look at Daisy Mae. She was born at 1.15am on Friday 13th May 2011. We were all there with her - I have been lucky enough to see all 3 of the shetlands born.












All photos are when Daisy Mae is just one day old, except for the one where she has just been born and looks wet - ahhh Bless.

Hope you enjoy your day what ever you are doing. I fancy a trip to St Anne's for a walk on the beach - although I am not sure about the weather.

Good Morning

New additions to the family !!!














How cute are they!! Our dogs are not to sure what to make of them !!

Working with Clarity stamps today. Craftrange have Clarity stamps in stock and everyone is loving them, they are so easy to use and come on there own stamps block. The impression you get is from the stamps is outstanding every time.

The Shetland Ponies this weekend they are bieng shown at Great Harwood Show on Bank Holiday Monday.
And Hambleton District Show on Sunday.
Just ask for Landale Shetlands if you want to make your selves known.

Another New Foal

Hi

Well seen as I am in Foal mode !!!
Before we get back to crafting on this craft blog of mine !!! I wanted to show you my friends new foal-not a Shetland as you will see. She is simply gorgeous, the photos show the new foal at around 2-3 weeks old and her mum twix
Twix stayed at our home for a while and my husband Mick just loved her, she is a gentle giant.

Foal finally arrived = Worth the wait !!!

I feel like I have been on foal watch for ages!!! Its been so amusing going out into the field at all hours of the day and night - checking to see if there were signs of a new arrival.

Well finally on Monday 3rd May 9.20pm April(thats the Shetlands name) was just starting!!! I rang for my sister to come up as they are all her Shetlands (she has five now 6 !!! Shetland ponies that live with us)and she missed seeing Dilly (one of the other Shetlands foal two years ago)
April foaled around 9.45pm to a gorgeous colt, she is adorable.

A Day at Coffee and Craft Club - I love it !!!

Hi

Today has been great just like every Thursday is, every Thursday at Craftrange we have Coffee and Craft Club, everyone comes with there own craft items and crafts all day. Coffee and Tea on tap in the corner,chocolate biscuits, friends, laughter and a good old natter whilst crafting. What more could we ask for !!! Plenty of Inspiration flys round the room and we all just have a real good day. There are two session, one starts at 10am till 1pm and the afternoon one starts at 1.30pm till 4.30pm both sessions are only £3.00 each, some come for one session and some come for the whole day and stop for lunch in the instore coffee shop.
