I feel like I have been on foal watch for ages!!! Its been so amusing going out into the field at all hours of the day and night - checking to see if there were signs of a new arrival.
Well finally on Monday 3rd May 9.20pm April(thats the Shetlands name) was just starting!!! I rang for my sister to come up as they are all her Shetlands (she has five now 6 !!! Shetland ponies that live with us)and she missed seeing Dilly (one of the other Shetlands foal two years ago)
April foaled around 9.45pm to a gorgeous colt, she is adorable.
