After nearly a year away !!! I am back - sometimes I felt like I was blogging to myself, But Isla and Jacqueline assure me that I'm not.!!!
Well after weeks of waiting Dilly has had her foal - we now have 7 Shetlands in the field and the new one is doing fine - she has been called Daisy Mae and is adorable. They all belong to my sister and they show them all. Last week they took 3 of them to a show and got 2 x firsts and 1 x Junior Champion.
Take a look at Daisy Mae. She was born at 1.15am on Friday 13th May 2011. We were all there with her - I have been lucky enough to see all 3 of the shetlands born.
All photos are when Daisy Mae is just one day old, except for the one where she has just been born and looks wet - ahhh Bless.
Hope you enjoy your day what ever you are doing. I fancy a trip to St Anne's for a walk on the beach - although I am not sure about the weather.
